About us

Aloha Seniors 411 was founded by Don Dietz in 2024, but the idea for it had been taking shape throughout his 30+ years as a Hawaii real estate broker. Driven by compassion for the elderly and the utmost respect for our military, Don dedicated himself to helping seniors and active duty personnel navigate the often-overwhelming process of moving out of their (often longtime) homes. Many of our Senior clients transitioned to living with their children or into care facilities. While most of our warriors are faced with orders to PCS or retire.
Over the years, Don personally handled much of the heavy lifting. Using his own pickup truck, he made multiple trips to storage facilities, dropped off items for donation, and even hauled loads to the city dump. To make the transition as smooth and stress-free as possible, he built a trusted team of professionals—care home consultants, demo and refuse specialists, painters, handymen, plumbers, electricians, home stagers, photographers, and more—each ready to step in and expertly handle every detail needed to prepare a home for sale.
Through his dedication, Don earned a reputation as the “go-to, one-stop realtor” for seniors and military families, which led to a steady stream of new clients. Today, Aloha Seniors 411 has grown into a small Hawaii-based business that helps kūpuna and armed service members transition into the next phase of their lives. Guided by the same compassion and affordability that defined Don’s approach from the beginning, we continue to provide trusted, comprehensive services to meet the unique needs of Hawaii’s seniors and military.

A Hawai‘i Community Initiative Supporting Seniors in Transition

A dignified solution for families navigating life’s most difficult moments
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in Hawai‘i real estate. During that time, I repeatedly encountered families overwhelmed when a parent could no longer live safely at home.

The challenge was never just the sale of a house — it was the lack of coordinated support during an emotionally fragile period.

Aloha Senior 411 was created to solve that problem.

The Gap We Address

When a senior must transition:

Families often lack upfront capital
Adult children may live on the mainland
Homes require clearing, repairs, and coordination
Stress and indecision delay safe outcomes
As a result, seniors remain in unsafe conditions and families struggle alone.

This is a systemic gap, not an isolated issue.

Our Solution

Aloha Senior 411 provides end-to-end senior transition support, allowing families to move forward with clarity and dignity.

We coordinate:

  • Home clearing and organization

  • Minor repairs and value-preserving improvements

  • Cleaning, staging, and preparation

  • Real estate sale coordination

  • Communication with trustees, caregivers, and family members

When possible, costs are deferred until closing, reducing financial strain at the moment help is most needed.

Why Community Support Matters

Some families reach us before any financial solution is available.

This Community Launch Fund allows us to:

  • Step in earlier for vulnerable seniors

  • Cover essential upfront costs

Prevent deterioration, delay, and unsafe living conditions

  • Expand access to families otherwise unable to proceed

  • This is not emergency charity.

    It is preventive community infrastructure.

Just a Note: AlohaSenior411 does not handle rentals or housing placement. We're here to connect you with trusted senior services, as well as home repair and sale resources.
